It offers advice on how to maintain freight flowing across the EU during the epidemic, among other things. All relevant internal border-crossing sites on the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) were asked to be designated as &#8216;green lane&#8217; border crossings as soon as possible. All freight trucks, regardless of the items they are transporting, should be able to use the green lane border crossings.<br \/>\nThe Commission suggested on October 28 to expand the Green Lane concept to guarantee that multimodal transportation works efficiently in sectors such as rail and maritime freight, as well as air cargo.
